New album almost done!

Hiya guys, its been awhile since my last blog! My Unconditional Oz Tour is going great so far. This Sunday i will be playing at PurePop Records, St Kilda in Melbourne. Show kicks off at 4pm, so maybe come along a little earlier to secure youself a seat!

While i spent time on the Sydney leg of the tour i was busy in the Psalter Studio’s in Sydney, working on an old school Country Gospel album. It’s sounding great and i cant wait to get it out there!! So ofcourse i will keep you all posted on any updates.

Launch date is due mid October..

Q SONG FINALIST

What an honor folks! Miracle & I will Stand, have made the finals for Q SONG 2010. They are two of four songs chosen as the Gospel/Spiritual category finalist. Ofcourse im very excited and have now scored tickets to the Q SONG Awards Night in August. You guys can come along too!

In other news im getting ready to launch my very first film clip later this month. Iv decided to have a YouTube party and launch it online. Happy 2010

Happy New Year guys! I hope you’ve all had a fun and safe Christmas! I took it pretty easy – spent a few days in “sunny” Townsville with family, and now I’m heading down to Byron Bay as I type (I’m not driving, of course)

For those in the Byron Bay area, I launch my new CD After The Storm at The Railway Friendly Hotel this Wednesday at 7pm. Come along and check out my first ever gig with a full backing band! We have Andrew Lowden playing piano and singing with me, Nathan Watt on drums, Andy on bass and Ben on lead guitar. It’s going to be a great night!

For those in Brisbane, my CD launch will be at The Troubadour on the 20th January.

The Horse Darkly CD Launch at The Globe Theatre

Back in June, I opened for my friends The Horse Darkly at The Globe Theatre in Fortitude Valley. These guys were launching their amazing self-titled debut album and I was honoured to be able to open the night with a few of my tunes!

The other band opening for The Horse Darkly were called 26 and they were amazing as well! It constantly blows me away how much talent comes out of Brisbane. It’s a little disappointing that there aren’t too many places for them to play, but when we do get together, it’s an amazing night, for both the artists and the audience.

Thanks for everyone who came along and made it such a great night!
